Email and calendar sync for G Suite accounts
Due to changes in how third-party apps are able to access your G Suite account, G Suite Administrators will need to authorize CATS as a trusted app in order for CATS to continue syncing G Suite emails and calendars.
G Suite Administrators will need to whitelist CATS (Top Echelon Sync) for the email and calendar integration to function.
Additionally, CATS users who are syncing an @gmail.com account will no longer be able to do so. In order to sync a Google account's calendar or email with CATS, it will need to be a G Suite account. G Suite accounts are designed for businesses, easy to set up, and available from $7 per user per month.
How to whitelist CATS as a G Suite Administrator
- Once signed in to the Google Admin Console, search for and click API controls at the top.
- From API controls, click MANAGE APP ACCESS.
- On the App Access Control screen, click the Configure new app option near the middle of the page.
- Copy and paste the following in the search field - this is the unique identifier for CATS (now labeled Top Echelon Sync) and click Search.

- From the search results, hover over Top Echelon Sync and click it.
- You'll be asked to select a Scope of access, and we recommend the default All. Click Continue.
- On the final Configure new app page, select either Trusted or Specific Google data (to limit which Google services the app will have access to), and then click Continue to complete the process and save CATS as a trusted app.
