Keyboard shortcuts in CATS

Keyboard shortcuts are a great way to quickly get around CATS and perform common actions. You can streamline your entire workflow just by using your keyboard.

To view the available keyboard shortcuts in CATS, just click the Support icon (?) in the top right corner of any screen > Keyboard Shortcuts.

There are three aspects of CATS you can control through keyboard shortcuts: navigation, adding records, and performing actions.

Navigating and creating records by keyboard shortcuts requires a sequence of keys - G, for "go", to navigate and A, for "add", to create. The next key you enter, within one second, determines where you would like navigate to or the record you would like to create.

The Utility Panel keyboard shortcuts pertain to actions you can perform on records and because of this you need to either be on a record's profile or have the Utility Panel opened already on a grid.
